About TEE

TEE is an educational, full engaging program for teaching children and youth between the age of 3 and 14 yrs the Arabic language and culture. A native Arabic speaker that’s fluent in both the English and the Arabic language will teach the children, and will fully immerse them in the art of the Arabic language and engage them in cultural experiences. The program is packed in a fun and a creative environment that will help the children naturally learn the language through play, exploration and hands on projects.

TEE stands for:

1. Teach children and youth language skills and culture through our proposed curriculum. The curriculum will help the children foster understanding and appreciation of Arabic language, Arab history and culture.
2. Engage the youth and children, in creative work and learning.
3. Expose children and youth to their rich Arabic culture and the art of their language through projects, themes, field trips, music..etc

TEE Curriculum

TEE classes will focus on developing basic communication skills in Arabic. Children will learn Classic Arabic, standard vocabulary and grammar, and colloquial dialect.  Although all four areas of language learning will be covered in class (i.e. speaking, listening, reading and writing), the focus of the Arabic class will center on developing speaking and listening abilities with the purpose of engaging in a basic conversation in Arabic.  Children with practice and in cooperation with their teachers and parents will have the confidence to greet people, describe and discuss their environment, communicate emotions and feelings, and talk about general situations.

Our Students will learn Arabic language and get a grasp on the Arabic rich culture through music and movement, games, projects, storytelling, visual aid, field trips and other activities that have been carefully tailored to the age of the children to maximize learning and fun. This will help the children to naturally absorb the Arabic language.

Books and educational materials are purchased directly from private schools in Palestine, Syria and Jordan.  We have carefully selected a curriculum tailored to our Arab American children from various backgrounds and age groups. Other educational material is developed in house by our talented teachers.
